Bang on.  The adjusted eps that all these drug companies pitch is nothing more than spinning straw into gold.  The balance sheet is boned and the chickens are happily roosting.

I will generalize again, because I seem to enjoy pissing into the wind on this bullboard: Buying or holding in expectation of a buyout offer is speculating. Buying or holding in expectation of growth in future cash flows is investing.
