RE:RE:Intermission

RE:RE:Intermission@jb24, you may have missed a bit of the point of the post.  Indeed the separate topic of HFT is frustrating to the retail investor.  The market has never been a fair place or level playing field.  Why I have made comments about not timing this stock because it can turn on a dime.  Not because of what I can do (or even SlimJim).  I just want to be positioned for when the manipulation or positive momentum takes hold.  Don't try and outsmart the market, just ride the tide.

Take some time to learn about ANON and who gets to use it and why.  There is a reason why someone like Buffett gets to trade without people knowing - his actions are watched and followed.

The reason why most of the so called 'smart money' stays out of names like this is it is too early for them.  They know all the tricks and games, the risks, and potential pitfalls.  The traders, manipulators, etc. just have a field day with retail investors at this stage.  But when they come in they use ANON sometimes to hide other competing firms from knowing what they are doing.

Some posters seem to think that big money is not in this stock.  Who do you think gets to use ANON?  Not people like SlimJim.  His investment house may do a cross for him.  Or if he wants to unload a large amount in a short time they may trade for him and use ANON.  Sometimes they don't want other houses to know what their clients are doing.  For perspective, ANON can own the same amount of shares of companies trading over $20 - big difference than what he has under $1.  Perspective.  Share amount isn't a big deal in penny stocks.  I can go out and buy 300,000 shares of a $0.02 - big deal.  Try that with a bank stock.

No point in complaining about the field.  Just learn how to navigate it.  But as much as you think you might know, they will always be changing the rules, and staying one step ahead of you.
