RE:RE:Comparing Energizer with companies on the African mainland Chinese companies signing MOU's or supply contracts with developing graphite companies that say they have huge supplies could make it difficult for other graphite developers to get their project online.
If such supply contracts don't live up to promise, the graphite price could move much higher to China's advantage
One can do a search for Australian graphite explorers in Africa. Then follow up with more specific searches and keep up on them at Google Finance. Google Finance lists a company's news releases by Relevance or by Date, I prefer using Date and making my own opinion on Relevance.
Another company with properties on Mozambique called Triton Minerals, -like Syrah Resources- has made claim that they have a huge graphite deposit. On 03/02/2016 Triton stopped trading.
Here's their link on Google Finance. https://www.google.com/finance?q=ASX%3ATON&hl=en&ei=-nz8VfnjJaOoiALs-J2wBQ . On 06/18/2014 they traded at A $0.86, followed by a fall to about A $0.155 on 02/27/2015, then rose to A $0.415 by 04/24/2015 and fell to A $0.061 on 03/02/2016 when she stopped trading.
The day after Triton stopped trading this news release dated 03/03/2016 appeared https://www.smh.com.au/business/mining-and-resources/triton-minerals-upbeat-one-day-administrators-in-the-next-20160303-gn9hdl.html
The new release spoke of a voluntary administrator being appointed.
Excerpts:
Touted as the developer of the largest combined graphite and vanadium deposit in the world, Triton was valued at more than $200 million in 2014.
Graphite hopeful Triton Minerals was upbeat on Tuesday about its future, outlining its strategic plan for the year ahead. On Wednesday, Ferrier Hodgson was appointed voluntary administrator to the company.
A day earlier, Mr Hughes told clients the strategic update from the company was "extremely positive" and said there was "considerable upside in Triton's current share price".
Ashurst partner Antonella Pacitti said companies are generally placed into voluntary administration due to ongoing operational or financial difficulties or a one-off catastrophic event.
I wonder whats up with Triton?
