RE:RE:RE:Demistifying...One more personal dig, eh Misty? You're just a great guy, considering that the war is supposed to be over.
I think the deal is quite fine, considering what the lay of the land was at the time Tudor made the deal. Don't take it from me, though. Look at our share prices. Surely you don't think this just happened out of thin air?
I never said I was pleased at our situation, though. You and I both are disappointed. I'm disappointed because Teuton wasn't able to put an expert witness on the stand. You're disappointed because Dino didn't die in a car accident. When the Deal was made the lay of the land looked ominous for your company, which needed money desperately, and it wasn't exactly Easy Street that Teuton was facing either. Now everything has changed. Both companies have withdrawn from the edge. Tudor saw its opportunity, our share prices have tripled or quintupled in less than a month, and the fratricidal partners now have a chance to make some serious money for their shareholders. If Tudor sells its interest to the Man in the Moon, so what? We still get carried. That never disappears, so what are you afraid of?
Would you rather have had our companies sink from their own weights? More than a year went by before this deal with Tudor was made, Misty, and nothing happened at Treaty Creek. Why not? A lack of trust? The defamation suit? Or was it the simple fact that raising millions of dollars at five cents per unit -- no mean feat these days -- sends your share structure to smithereens, IF you can raise the money at all. Raising a million dollars at five cents translates into 20 million shares up front and hopefully another 20 million from the warrants. That's a nice chunk of the pie to give away, and before you know it more dilutions still would be following. Pretty soon today's shareholders would be owning less than 20%. Ah, but we don't have to worry about that anymore. Every advance in the field enhances our share prices. If it takes 30 years to begin the actual mining, then so be it. There are plenty of stops along the way. You can get off at any one of them, and they'll be a lot better than getting off at three cents or five cents per share post 1-for-5 consolidation.
So be as miserable as you want, Misty. At least now we have a chance to make some money. I'm thankful for it, even if I'm not thankful for failing to get the expert witness on the stand.
