RE:RE:RE:Detour MC now 5.2 billionOne has to remember that the portion of the orebody that was selected for the bulk sample was chosen to be representative of the Valley of the Kings and was selected by the outside consultants. The high grade area that was mined happened to include the Cleo zone that was originallty annnounced as a vein structure. It turned out to be a nuggety area with limited continuity.
I believe that mining at Brucejack will be fulll of surprises. I have faith that overall the grades are there and I expect the average mined grade to exceed expectations as the top cut at 540 G/T does not take in the bonanza grades that occur throughout the orebody. Until the pre-production development work has prepared some high grade stopes for mining we will be in the dark as to what mining will actually look like.
