I think the question of whether it is a "steal or not" comes down to the fact they will not have enough time to process the metal before the next debt payment is due and they only managed to negotiate a 1 month deferral last month. They are in hot water in terms of time. It could come down to a day or 2 process time in the middle of the month to save them from collapse. I'm not familiar with the cyanide process for mining, but I'm sure the recovery/regeneration cycle will be the limiting factor as to how fast they can process.
