two german automakers leading with ESS...are Daimler (Accumotive) and BMW From what I can tell, BMW is a little behind in their development. Hope its one of the two. There are SO many articles about ESS. There seems to be an annual ESS - solar trade convention in every country. HUGE companies are racing to develop their own ESS solution. The likes of SMA and Sonnen can't possibly win every contract. Remember that Sustainable Energy (former name of Eguana Tech) was shipping their inverters and controls to Europe and the US already a few years ago. Eguana has a very good name for itself as a trusted and proven industry leader. It's why LG selected them! I am predicting that other companies will select EGT as tech partners to develop their own ESS solutions. The race now is to find the tech that is the least expensive, most efficient, and most adaptable when it comes to grid edge installations and storage. Let's get this done Mr. Holland!
