A puzzling stock indeed

A puzzling stock indeedThis is my first posting and I do it with a sense of puzzlement.
This stock has a lot of loyal support but never seems to go anywhere. I don't think it has ever closed a day's trading above a Canadian buck in its life. It's almost as if it is being "pulled" (to use a racing term), but how can that be?
The potential is enormous and I have bought two lots this year. I also saw the S7 Small Cap presentation in Toronto in March and was impressed.
I have two nagging concerns: how valuable are those patents (I mean, I could hold 20 patents with regard to Betamax technology but they wouldn't do me much good, would they?) and is there a competing technology.
My instinct says Spectra7 has the potential to be a disruptive technological force, though nothing in the market or in the way it trades supports this view. It's almost as if S7 prefers to be unknown. I can't imagine this is a conscious marketing decision so now I wonder if the major investors and management are teaming up to take it private but there's no evidence of insider trading to support this view. If it does go private, us lesser fry will still make a few bucks, but nothing compared with what might happen with our shares in S7 as a public company.
Anyone care to comment?
