RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Nevsun Dismisses Baseless Criticisms
Oh great! another "real shareholder" that now says managment is "in the plot" - yes, borrow the money from Nevsun, agree on a share price of $9.40 cdn , so raise the $135 million to exercice its option on the property from Freeport- whilst quietly "knowing" that XGC and Jim Bao would be willing to buy at $8.00 cdn!
Wow! If that is the case - and in life anything is possible - I wouldn't expect Nevsun to sit idly by and take up their a**.
As an RMC shareholder I do not want to run down my own investment, but I'm also realize the inherent risks in RMC - a) the loss of their major partner in Freeport on the North Side - or did Freeport do nothing? b) China, is facing headwinds, and if Kyle Bass is correct, and more and more people such as Carl Icahn, are also in and agreeing with him, who knows what would happen to copper prices, and do you think that RMC share prices would stay up in these lofty prices - it was in January of this year that they were priced at the $3.00 level....and raise the additional funds c) who would dare to trust RMC management and come forward to make a deal with them, if your suggestion of cloak and dagger is true? d) and whilst we can take shots at NSU and the "risk of an African mine" - which has helped them become a cash rich enterprise with $$$$ accumulating daily, we quietly forget that there is a third world war brewing between Russia - Nato, and Serbia has always been a Russia ally, and is not in the European Union - there has to be a reason for them not being in the EU after so many years, why?
My point is that I believe the NSU offer, is a good one for all of us, as yes it increases our risks in some aspects, but it also diversifies, adds an experienced miner, that can manage, has an experienced mining team that has successfully building and expanding their mine.
I wouldn't want to see NSU walk away, as they have enough cash, to bring RMC project into being. You are only taking "big" now, because NSU has made you "big" due to their bid.
But you guys are the "real shareholders", so the rest of us, that want to see the deal go through, are going to be penalized by a SMLL MINORITY. Lets not forget that 33 1/3 does not make a majority! but it is enough to DESTROY VALUE.
I would think it would take a few years for RMC to reach these levels again! that is a risk that I do not want to take -
The door to proposals has been open for over 8 months and NOBODY has made a better offer than NSU! By forcing a further delay, by voting no, is VALUE DESTRUCTION!
