In 1996 the stock traded for around 15 US dollars a share and was a considered a viable solid company with close to 3 million ounces of gold in the ground and working joint arrangements with senior gold companies.
Last year at its bottom Nevsun had a share price of .08 US cents. Nevsun had seen its stock go from a high of 250 million US market cap in 1996 to a market cap of around 2 million US dollars in 2001."
