I find in life that there are people who tell it "like it is" and people who prefer to tell it like they would like it to be ("little basis in reality"). It's ok either way, as long as you know which kind of person you are talking to. Sometimes you need a bit of unrealistic inspiration, in life.
It's trickier on the stock boards, because there are also people who try to convince of the opposite of how it is or how they would like it to be. There are a lot of people trying to convince you to do the wrong thing.
