California surpasses France as world's 6th largest economy

California surpasses France as world's 6th largest economyPlease tell me to stop if you think I'm cheerleading too much on the future of California (and the rest of the USA, Canada and oil/natural gas for that matter).   People just seem so down on the future; that to me means opportunity to invest before things start steam rolling again.

I still remember real estate in Toronto in the 90's.  Buildings sat half built for years, prices crashed almost 40%.  Turned out to be a once in a generation opportunity to buy land/property.

Can't wait to find out if LA gets the summer Olympics.  After hearing about the financial disaster in Rio, the drug scandals in Russia, the IOC will probably want  a nice safe haven and it's North America's turn.
