Fast track to productionNXE's Arrow is land based and no problems are forseen at this stage. Environmental work is in preparation for permit applications; ongoing baseline monitoring metallurgical, geotechnical and hydrogeological studies are scheduled with an economic study to form the basis of a permit application by the end of 2017. I believe mine development could begin as soon as sometme late 2019 to early 2020.
NXE's advantages are: 90% of global mine supply is under sever technological or sovereign risk; Saskatchewan is ranked as #2 mining jurisdiction in the world but 2 of the mines are under severe technical risk; there is a high concentration of supply with over 50% of uranium coming from the top 10 mines.. None of that will be lost on nuclear utilities which will flock to NXE for long term contracts to diversify their supply and reduce supply risk. Mitigating technical and sovereign risks, NXE will be in a position to demand premium prices for safety and security of supply. Regarding mine finance, letters of intent with utilities would make for easier credit for mine development capital.
