The Company is focused on the mining, development and exploration of minerals and precious metals from its property interests located primarily in Africa. The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex project stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, approximately 25 kilometers (km) west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 km west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The Kipushi mine is adjacent to the town of Kipushi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) approximately 30 km southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The 21 licenses in the Western Foreland cover a combined area of 1,808 square kilometers to the north, south and west of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex.

RE:RE:Release Up on WebsiteFor Kamoa the agreement with Zijin Mining requires Zijin to provide quarantees from Zijin to the lenders of  Ivanhoe's portion of the capex-therefore -no dilution. If Kamoa is the first to go into pdoduction and had the projected IRR, then Ivanhoe should be able to provide the cash for Kipushi and Platreef in a reasonable timeframe Since Zijin is also a 10% (approximately) shareholder in Ivanhoe this is agood deal for all concerned. Don't worry-Friedland is a pretty sharp guy and he made a lot of money for the shareholders in the previous companies that had big discoveries (Voisey's Bay and Olgo-Tolgoi).
