RE:Condolences to the Hancock family

RE:Condolences to the Hancock family

An avid cyclist and head of a video solutions firm who was struck by a car while riding his bike in Mississauga remains in critical condition at Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto and has not died from his injuries, family members and friends say.

News had been circulating that Steve Hancock, 58, a married father of three from Toronto, had died from his injuries after he was taken off of life support. The News received two emails from cycling friends indicating Hancock had died.

But a friend of the family contacted The News Thursday (June 23) to say that information is incorrect and he remains in critical condition. She advised his condition is still grave.
