Actually pennydredful, I disagree with that statement. If Canexus shareholders have any hope of saving the company, a few of the present directors will need to remain. If shareholders decide to vote them all out, then the directors would now have the legal argument of deciding who leaves and who stays.
Personally, I believe that shareholders need to vote out the following directors;
David R. Collyer - as he has been a director for over two years, yet owns no shares.
Arthur N. Korpach - as he holds the Chair of both the Special Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee.
Stephanie L. Felesky - as she holds the Chair of the Compensation Committee
Shareholders, these are my opinions, but keep in mind that who you vote in will be running the BOD for the next year. So far, your present BOD has let you down!

I think everyone now knows that the proposed merger deal is dead and more importantly, has been for quite sometime!
