It would be sad to see Quebec leave Canada.Lowell Green wrote a book " Why Now is the perfect time to wave goodbye to Quebec" and it shows both Canada and Quebec thriving after a seperation. Canada sends billions of dollars to Quebec in transfer payments while Quebec sits on billions of gallons of oil reserves and refuses to give permission to recover the oil because they would have to share with the rest of Canada.
