The Fund’s investment objective is to provide total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. The Fund will invest at least 80% of its managed assets in a diversified portfolio of convertible securities and non-convertible income securities. The Fund will invest at least 30% of its managed assets in convertible securities and up to 70% of its managed assets in non-convertible income securities. The Fund may invest without limitation in securities of foreign issuers. Fund invests in various sectors, such as technology, financial, communications, energy, basic materials and other. The investment advisor of the Fund is Advent Capital Management, LLC.

RE:RE:Possible Scenario?Believe me,  I didn't buy into AVK because I thought gold was going to go ballistic.  I bought
because of the outstanding fundamentals and the extreme undervaluation.  I did and still do
hold a positive outlook for gold going forward but that is totally separate from my initial reason
for purchase.  And yes, am in agreement about trying to pile into any commodity type stock
for the only reason that the trend will continue.  That is a momentum play and a fools game
which can turn against you at any time.  As you can readily see,  AVK is hardly a momentum
play,  but I'm confident it will become one at some point once things get rolling.  Just wanted
to clarify things so there is no further misunderstanding.
