The plight of an idiotAn idiot either by nature or nurture is someone who neither himself noranyone around him take him ever seriously. So he lives in a world of illusions, if not delusions, and is content with his plight, until someone comes along and takes him at his word; takes him seriously. Then the problems for the idiot begin, because he has to justify his stupidity and that is a tormenting problem for the idiot. He can't believe that someone took him seriously; then he is alarmed and goes haywire. Trying to prove that he indeed is worth something. Then he goes all over the map to convince the world that he is not an idiot afterwards. And in his vain attemp to prove the impossible, he becomes the laughing stack of mankind. That is why it's important to never take an idiot seriously because you will cause him more harm than good.
