Treetop2 wrote: marketsense, let me share an opinion.  A smart gold investor does not justify investing in a particular stock by being bullish on gold.  At any point in time there are arguments for and against a higher gold price, and in the end any predictions are right about 50% of the time.  What we do know is that the mood of the market changes like the weather.  (And furthermore the emotional factor of gold bug fever makes the price of gold and gold stocks even more unpredictable.)  An objective investor will not count on gold going up, and should have in mind that it may go lower.  That forces you to choose the best or most undervalued companies.

Actually I get tired of reading on any of these boards "hey guys, it's so great to own this stock because gold is going up up up.."

The good thing about AVK in my opinion is that the project has good grades and good economics, and no unusual risk factors, so it doesn't depend on the up up up scenario.  If gold does go up up up, well that will be a bonus.

Good luck

Hey Treetop2, AVK currently has 300MM shares O/S; 400MM shares fully diluted.  What will be the final shares count (further dilution) to get this mine dinanced, built and up running?
.
Thanks.
