I highly doubt it. The next move for Canexus will be CCAA protection.
I believe that Canexus and it's banking syndicate were fully aware that the proposed merger was history when they eliminated the dividend. Keep in mind that for most of the last 3 years, the payout ratio was well over 100%. Canexus simply has no money to pay a dividend!
