Agreed Goldfood. However after doing some research regarding the exit of the COO I think I may have found the reason why the abrupt departure. Here is a copy and past of comments made by a Oneroof employee found on glassdoor.

Now that the COO has been released the atmosphere has shifted from a miserable everyone hates what they do vibe, back to the original ORE that cares about their people and people are proud to come to work vibe. Its inspiring to see David Field take back his company because he genuinely cares about his employees and the future of the company he built. We let the Verango people infect our company like a cancer and lost a lot of good people.

Advice to Management

Take care of your people fight for whats right. Fight for your people they will break their backs working for you if they feel the love.

There are over 40 comments about this company and plenty mention Brian and the Verango group specifically. My thoughts are that morale had gotten to the point where long time and experienced employees were leaving and the former COO was being fingered out as the main reason after he started bringing in his own people from the Verango group and laying off some other long time Oneroof employees.

Either way I have been in contact with Karen Fisher for over a year and recently made contact with a few production staff both past and present and still feel my investment here is a good one. However with Brian now being gone and the majority of the staff once again happy with the recent shakeup perhaps this company and it's sp can continue moving forward.
