The Provinces and Municipaliities said they need clear direction that the Dispensaries are either legal, illegal, or still in that grey market. They got crystal clear direction that they are illegal and need to be shut down.
Online consultation .... likely to get over-run by the Emery types but we shall see.
Other than clear direction on confirmating the illegality of the dispensaries, there was not much new or unexpected ... and that is actually the best news of all. On track without delays is just what the market needed to hear as well as the LPs.

I like their online approach but I think when it comes down to it, if the majority of Canadians said they wanted marijuana sold in convenient stores there's no way the government would approve because its against their mandate. So in the end, the whole emphasis on public consultation is bullsh1t. So much pomp and performance.
