Integra to build the next, low-cost Goldex Mine ?Integra to build the next, low-cost Goldex Mine ? If Integra is going to model the #4 plug as a low-cost, bulk-tonnage block caving mining operation like Alnico Eagles Goldex Mine then this may be a good read.
At Agnico-Eagle Goldex Mine by using a low-cost, bulk-tonnage block caving mining method this made Goldex the lowest cost highest margin / most profitable mine in Agnico-Eagle's operation !
The # 4 Plug could have more value then the Triangle Zone ?
Agnico-Eagle Goldex

This was Goldex, as close as you will get to an underground open-pit gold mine, and Agnico-Eagle Mines’ second producing mine and its latest addition to the venerable Val d’Or camp in northeastern Quebec. The company gathered more than 800 people (locals, media, and analysts) at a ceremony under giant white tents only metres from where the ball mills and crushers worked to reach the current capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day.
Agnico decided in July 2005 to build Goldex, a low-cost, bulk-tonnage operation that would process almost 7,000 tonnes of ore per day over nine years of operation. According to specs, total gold production should average 175,000 oz. per year at total cash costs of around US$230 per ounce.
