Buyout

BuyoutAgain, I recommend that everyone checks anything posted here.  It's unclear if lies are accidental or intentional.

In Canada, criminal cases are normally handled by the Crown. And if you know anything about the average length of cases and costs involved, you'll know why.

https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/csj-sjc/just/08.html

"A crime is considered to be an offence against society as a whole, so it is usually the state that starts a criminal prosecution."

I have never, ever seen a "private" criminal case and I had a good friend that only talks about law, he's a lawyer and we chatted about this for years.  Civil vs Criminal as we often venture into solving society's issues over beers.

Since all the cases are searchable on the web, I challenge anyone here to point to one that is relevant to the discussions here.  Seems like an intimidation ploy to me to prevent us from talking about who the suitors are for the buyout?

As others have said, buyout rumors are rampant because buyouts are rampant at this point in the commodities cycle.  Get used to it. The next few years will be interesting as various "oil barons" show their force.
