SILVER WHEATON CORP. T.SLW

"Silver Wheaton is a pure, unhedged paper proxy on silver prices with a unique business model. The company purchases silver for sale through long-term purchase contracts from counterparties. Currently, the company has long-term silver purchase contracts with more than a dozen mines. Silver Wheaton purchased and sold roughly 28 million silver-equivalent ounces in 2012 through its purchase sales contracts."

RE:RE:Lovely numbers

RE:RE:Lovely numbersmat: Are you suggesting that SLW is still playing catch-up to the increased cash flow of its partners? That would seem to imply that the market doesn't yet accept that silver is going to hold its recent gains over the longer term.

For years, SLW roughly matched the price of silver, but it appears that this is no longer true. (Especially now that it has almost as much gold as silver!)

We need a new rule of thumb.
