RE:RE:RE:CGC now needs a hemp line of wellness products...For the most part I agree ... The Smiths Fall plant needs to be expanded.  Mettrum has a lot of real estate on Boemanville.  APHRIA just closed their land deal today so who knows what they are going to do with every square foot.  You and to a degree all of us are assuming edibles for sure.  Perhaps not on day 1 or even year 1.  When you breakdown the polls that show 7 in 10 favour recreational legalization the majority of those in favour oppose it in forms that are kid friendly like ice cream and gummies.    Cheers and great post 

doobiebaby wrote: IP1, here is what I think.  Infusing edibles and packaged goods is going to require the same security measures that the LPs are forced to adhere to.  Smith Falls is ideally suited to build out the infrastructure for this.  It will all have to be behind fences with cameras everywhere.  No other LP has the infrastructure to do this as well as Tweed.  Not sure where Mettrum produces their Hemp line of natural products but it will have to be wired up like Fort Knox if they are going to be adding cannabinoids to the food and lotions etc.  There is no way that some packaged goods company is going to be just allowed to start adding cannabinoids to products.  It is all going to have to fit within the rules of MMPR 2.0 or maybe even 3.0.  In terms of the other LPs I think most are going to be f*cked because they are not going to have the inventory necessary to deal with the ramp up of medical let alone Adult Use.  None of them to my knowledge have the appropriate inventories to deal with the medical patients coming on stream now.  Even Tweed is running out of product.  Balmoral ran out today and that is telling.  They still have 18 strains on the market, but inventory management is going to be critical for awhile.  I think Aphria is screwed with this and I think Organigram is as well.  Tweed is not, but even they may crumble under the weight of demand in the next few months.  I know John Fowler at Supreme quite well.  We have spoken on a number of occassions.  I want him to succeed, but do not buy into his strategy and have told him this directly.  I could have picked up as much as I wanted of that recent bought deal and bought none of it because I do not believe in the strategy.  I want Supreme to be more.  I think they are having trouble raising capital because the big boys are already off to the races.  That is my 2 cents.
