I believe in the most recent application and request for information to the FDA they wanted more scientific data to support the claims. I don't think FDA gave blanket approval for all the scopes and manufacturers . I think Vp4 can do most of them but not all. The news release says to contact the manufacturer to see if it can be sterilized . I think they got most of the widely used ones though. I am only assuming this don't know for sure ... Can ask Rumble at August cc.  Not sure about the modified Olympus scopes either. The most important thing is that the approval by FDA is significant for two reasons . Firstly all those hospitals which were waiting on the fence for the extended claims will now place orders. Secondly hospitals which have a history of superinfection bugs from unsterile scopes will be under legal pressure to switch to VP4.  If they get a death from a scope and they are not using VP4 , the potential liability of a lawsuit will force the compliance departments to purchase the units. The should result in an avalanche of orders ..... How does the company cope with this ? Build a larger manufacturing facility in the US? Outsource it? But Go Pats is correct the market will decide the final evaluation not management.
