Taylor says buy Comstock Metals

2016-07-05 19:25 ET - In the News

Jay Taylor, in the June 15, 2016, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says buy Comstock Metals Ltd., recently 18 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy on Aug. 15, 2012, at 33 cents and on Dec. 18, 2013, at four cents. The stock rolled back 1 for 5 on May 16, 2016. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the two buys, the $2,000 position is now worth $1,009. Comstock is working on a $1.5-million financing of 12-cent units and 15-cent flow-through shares. It will use the proceeds to explore its gold prospects in the Yukon's White Gold district, such as the VG deposit, which holds an inferred resource of 4.39 million tonnes grading 1.65 grams per tonne gold. That is a fairly modest resource, but it has significant potential for expansion, says Mr. Taylor. He points out that a 2013 step-out hole intersected the VG structure about 500 metres west of the main resource area. As well, there are various subparallel structures that share similar geophysical and geochemical characteristics with the VG zone, including one that is 1,200 metres away. Mr. Taylor reckons that Comstock has "very good" odds of outlining a massive gold deposit. He bought more shares last week in hopes of enjoying "enormous" upside potential.
