RE:RE:RE:RE:Chinese miners are competing to secure gold assets !M2 is doing what I did when I was young and bored -- make dozens of D&D characters, each with a special little specialty all worked out, and then imagine them in contrived situations . . . only he does it with junior gold mining companies. He doesn't actually believe any of these are going to happen (Shandong! AEM!), or are more likely to happen than any other, he just wants to debate whether his cleric with a +4 mace could kill a minotaur. Sometimes it's interesting, such as when he posts about AEM bulk mining techniques and their applicability to Integra (that was very informative and I learned a lot), often it's boring, such as when he posts some general article and applies it to ICG. Because the management of ICG is creative and operating in the real world, their range of choices is far greater than what we imagine though, as evidenced by their partial acquisition of Eastmain, something that no one expected. Likewise for the companies that might buy them, or set up a JV -- even the most likely scenarios have a low range of possibility.
Basically, when you get down to it, we have to trust the management. They're trying to balance a large number of unknowns for the benefit of the company, and us.
