AGM later today. Hope to have some light shed on things I can't see some company coming forward to buy SPN without already having a requirement for the product. Without FID and contracts to fill NOW, this scenario makes no sense.
So, perhaps the interested party has requirements for the type of material found at SPN for projects of their own? I believe this is likely the case and I have to assume that they already have contracts completely UNRELATED to LNG or the Port or Roadway infrastructure development in the PR area.
Lets assume this is fact.
Should Petronas get the FID and be a go FINALLY, the interested party would be in the money in a HUGE way.
Lets see what comes of the AGM later today. I suspect we'll have some answers.
best,
