RE:RE:Wall Street for Main Street interview...
RE:RE:Wall Street for Main Street interview...Gatorone, The first time he mentioned this the word survive was used (about 3 months ago). Now based on what we do know, Bachelor and Hewfran and maybe some of Moroy (surface) will last a couple years. From there, it looks like it's up to Barry which SSL doesn't get anyway As for Barry, I personallyI don't think it's going to be the great boom everyone says it is. If Barry is the great resource then why wait to start mining it. Remember management said basically ASAP, then you read a analysis report a couple week later that says next spring at the earliest. Really? Remember Barry is only a little over 2 g/tone and prior to April of this year MTO couldn't make a profit mining 4.9.g/ton forma mine directly connected to the mill. I also find it interesting that MTO management is silent on alll of this. Considering the vocal opinions of many here (me included) management is silent or hiding. You heard Noland address the concerns some have of his company in this interview, thats what good management does (address the tough questions for everyone to hear).
In the end it's up to each of us to try and figure out the meaning of Noland words concerning Metanor. MTO management isn't helping the situation by basically saying nothing or giving mixed signals (Opening up Barry). This is the secopnd time this has been said in the last 3 months. So as usual with this company more questions that go unanswered. Again in the short term the next couple quarters should be good compared to the previous 4 or 5. Then again every other mining company is going to be posting much improved numbers. Our job as investors is too wade thru all the information and try to invest in solid conpanies. I've always said don't listen to anyone on these boards for investment decisions (including me). It's your money, take your time, decifer all the available information, make your own decision and don't be afraid to make a mistake, it happens. Not every stock pick is going to be a winner (unless your Team Europe, LOL). Your situation is probably different than mine, so what's best for me may not be for you. Having said that, everone has a point where they finally say enough. After 3+ years I've reached mine. Again this is just me, but there are just too many questions and concerns that aren't being addressed and more keep piling up. Today I closed out my position. If we are in the early stages of a new 3-4 year bull market in the mining sector. I believe I can do better with other companies (but that's me). Should you decide to stay in I hope the share price starts going up tomorrow. As for me I'm not going to look back and I don't see myself ever investing here again.
I want to thank everone for making the board entertaining, I'll look in from time to time just to see what's going on because it's still entertaining. Take care and good luck.
