White/colourless versus the restMany of you probably heard Tom emphasis the excellent ratio of the white/colour/ess to other colours during the presentation.
he was basically referring to CH-6 ratio..but it is absolutely not a far stretch to apply to most of the diamond district.
Here are two pipes that are not in the area of priority and not considered economic potential for a greensfield exploration program...but are absolute candidates for brownsfield programme:
"Three of the four diamonds larger than 0.850 mm in the CH-52 sample were characterized by the SRC as being white/colourless and one was off-white. The diamond larger than 0.850 mm in the CH-58 sample was also described as being white/colourless.
With the presence of commercial-size diamonds in small samples collected from CH-52, CH-55 and CH-58, more work will be scheduled on these kimberlites to determine their economic potential."
Of those 4 commercial stones, none of them are of the 'bad' colour and they all fit into either white/colourless or off-white.
That is a pretty good ratio.
CH-58 also has that absolutely beautiful (my favourite) photo of a mantle nodule:
Now that we have a PEA, a road and a mill that is paid for and then some by CH-6, 7...all these other kimberlites will be looked at, excactly what Tom said in the call. All of them.
