RE:SmelterHi Franau,
The nearest zinc smelter is located in Trail BC and is owned by Teck (also a major shareholder of CZX). There is a railway, road access to Akie and WAC Bennett dam located near the property. The required infrastructure is in place for a mine at Akie.
As per the share buyback the CEO thought that the share price was so undervalued that it was a good time to buyback shares without sacrificing too much of the cash on hand.
