You make exactly my point. The share price of Alterra is cheap, cheap. I agree. As this is not a short term matter but rather the current share price reflects the way investors see the performance of Alterra management over the years. You can see the result by the share price about how the market perceives and evaluates AXY management quarter by quarter over the past 5 years. The number (60 cents) is quite incriminating. In the public markets, every day is judgement day.
How can shareholders win in this scene. Simple. Dump management of AXY and let eager new knowledgeable people take over. Knowledge refers to technical knowledge such as engineering and AXY seems to have that but it also means business knowledge. That is where AXY is very weak.
Growing revenue and adding new plants is meaningless unless there is something in the end for shareholders. All there is so far is pain and losses year after year after year. The management machine is malfunctioning and needs to be upgraded. It is as simple as that.
