Non producing gold properties are simply a different animal at a different stage...that is all apples and oranges... comparing exs to b2gold for example... Yet at this level or even earlier properties are so interesting...even at the beginning when you simply stake the property and clear off the outcrops...way before blasting even...it is an excitement hard to explain...it is similar to panning for gold...or just finding a piece of quartz with all kinds of visible gold sticking out...In the 70's when I was still young I was at one of these properties with my father...we had cleared the outcrop, cleaned it off and I poured some water over the outcrop...it was loaded with visible gold...we took some samples ...then subsequent to that teck did not follow my father's strongest recommendation this would be a producing mine...heart fallen in dismay we returned and brought out hard working peter ferdeber and showed him...my father told him to stake everything as far as you can imagine!...He did that and subsequently was attributed to the discovery of the balmoral mine near val d'or...(unfortunately there was a mine collapse a couple of years after opening and I think 8 miners died and they closed the mine)...real dreams do come true....you must see the mine before it exists....of course you can invest in producers, giants and junior producers....simply different that is all.
