You might be missing something here. What they are doing is giving the flippers their wet dream. Just the last 2 years they gave them a few chances to make 100-200% within months. The general consensus is, that based on fundamentals, the SP should be 100-200% higher. Every time it is forced down, like it has been by the last 2 financings, it will have to recover because of that. Who do you think benefits from moves like that? Let's say that in 3 years they will build the mine. By then you will have been in this for over 5 years, at least. What do you expect to get out of it? 500%? A flipper might already be ahead by half of that and waiting for the next chance.
Volatility is not good for long term holding, but it is perfect for flipping.
It is hard to keep your eyes on the prize when every time you look at your account you are reminded of how much you have lost. If you argue that the loss is just paper loss, I will argue that the value they created investing in the project is nothing more than that. Just like the loss is only a loss if you sell, the gain is a gain if you can sell for that much.
