Market for disk drive cables?

Market for disk drive cables?
Anyone know if there is market potential for SATA or SAS cables? The key value might be energy savings. A shelf of 24 drives eat up a bunch of power, and I don't have a clue how much of that is used to drive the cabled IO. I have this feeling in the back of my mind that there is some brainstorming happening between NetApp and S7 and news will just come literally out of nowhere about something game changing.
