Once Nemaska's 500 million dollar factory is built...

Once Nemaska's 500 million dollar factory is built...I imagine that upon completion of Nemaska's 500 million dollar factory that, at that point they would have at the very least an asset worth 500 million which is something to add to their book value.

I was thinking yesterday about this as well as beforehand.  I was thinking further, that when one builds their own house, and let's say that costs them a million to build it, after it's completed, usually wouldn't that house be worth more to sell on the market, let's say 2 million for example if they were to sell it? I mean usually doesn't it cost less to build something than what you sell if for and don't usually people build it to make a profit? So I further expanded this thought to Nemaska's 500 million dollar factory thinking what if after they build their factory which costs 500 million to build that it is appraised at being worth more or if that value appreciates over time? Could that not be possible?

I wonder because I don't know the answer. Do any of you out there know this answer yourselves?
