RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What Makes Performance Sports Group (PSG) a Strong Sell?"All i can say is WELCOME aboard Mr Paul Desmarais III, WELCOME aboard" Indeed Coop007, indeed! Since the Desmarais family currently holds 7,721,599 shares in PSG which represents almost 17 % of the total # of outstanding shares, this is indeed a good thing. The Desmarais family has some serious skin in this game. They aren't going to lose. Of course, anyone who knows about the Desmarais family recognizes that they are one of the most influential families in Canada. Their company (Power Corp.) is a multi-billion dollar company and all that started with just a few buses as a transit company. Couple that with Harlan Kent and his experiences through Yankee Candle and any product distribution issues (that many have brought up on this bb), will be cleaned up. Consolidation has already started as they are closing down 2 - Easton bat locations and setting up in a new distribution centre in California. I wouldn't bet against this corporate team. There may be some down days, but this company is going to pick itself up, dust itself off, turn the page and move forward. This could become an attractive takeout target! Certainly has some of the best brands in sports. My regards, especially to the long PSG holders. All IMHO. And yes, I am a share holder./ok2
