The Kipushi mine is adjacent to the town of Kipushi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) approximately 30 km southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The 21 licenses in the Western Foreland cover a combined area of 1,808 square kilometers to the north, south and west of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex.

I finally bought back in after selling out years ago. The original Ivanhoe Mines, same guy, I did make a small fortune on this one. Bought in at 3 to $5 and sold all of it at $13 to $15. I never could completely figure out his mining operations but he is undoubtedly one of the best marketers in the mining business. And, he made me a lot of money way back when so I don't know if this is the same mine, doubt it, or a different mine that broke off. I only know that I made a lot and he is still here so I would not object to a repeat.
