Final Payment for Emera's Convertible Debentures Aug 2 2016

Has anyone talked to their broker concerning paying for the remaining portion of the installment receipts. My talk was not so clear. At one point they said I would need to make interest payments instead of receiving the interest due then he said the final payment would be "automatic". Can you convert the debenture to stock after Tuesday with no penalty just in case iTrade is a bit slow getting their act together. Thanks for any input.
