Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in approximately 60-120 equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative screening and fundamental analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

I agree and have said for a while I don't share the enthusiasm for POO in the short to medium term. we have a RISING glut at this point and is at it's highest level for this time of year in over 2 decades, this is driving season folks, here and in europe and we have rising inventories.

it's looking more and more like a significant turnaround in POO will not happen untill after POFS-1 is producing, not good for iae. poo is down about 1.50 at this point today. shoulder season is just around the corner to add a bit further doom to this situation.

only thing i can see turning poo around sooner (barring a major catastrophe somewhere) is opec cutting production and at this point i really don't see that happening. if wee don't get a really cold winter IAE will find itself sol imho. some on here could have their heads haded to them.
