Tough to run a mine while everyone around it is holding pitch forks and the workers are expected to get through it and work. I think Q2 report could bring some bad info and a potential SP drop if stock piling has in fact stopped. Maybe, that's why they have been so hush hush on mine restart. Just speculating. Comments?
Here's the article re:hostage at Aureus https://gnnliberia.com/2016/08/03/grand-cape-mount-county-aureus-mining-public-relations-officer-hostage-women-youth-groups/ I truely feel bad for the people of Liberia but there issue should be with their corrupt government and not with the mining company I'm trying to make money off of. I'm hoping this drives the stock down so that I can buy more. I think longterm this will be a stellar investment. The Turks are not the Brits. I'm sure they will be much more aggressive and get operations off the ground again, I doubt they are concerned by the moral compass that the previous management may have been bound too. I would be really surprised if MNG will throw away their 30m investment. A few of the elders will be bought off. And sometimes later in the year the price will skyrocket. Ps. This is my first stock purchase ever. I might end up being a total moron
