Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Consolidation?

RE:Consolidation?Look up the Consolidation Curve by Harvard OR I think the June issue of Cannaivestor had an article on the industry (American and Canadian) and hit on this.  APH and OGI have lots of money now.  Look at MJN .. from $0.14 to $0.50 in the blink of an eye and acquired PN and is the bicoastal LP yet has a market cap still under $22M ... MJN to me is a prime M&A target potentially.  APH likely needs to merge .... customer growth is slow.  Where is the oils licence due in June?   MT is growing too fast and cannot get stock ... what a match made in heaven!

Canopy has really been moving lately. I have to wonder if they will acquire additional producers maybe not Aphria but perhaps Supreme Pharm. or any others that are going through MMPR licensing process.

I would expect consolidation to start happening prior to legalization.

Any thoughts as to whether or not U.S. producers will be given access to Canadian markets?
