I think one of the previous posters had it right. Give them 3-6 months to procur a good deal, and if they cannot in that time frame, deliver a ROC. My bet is that a deal will get done in this time frame, but doubts remain.
That said, even deals made with a cash-rich company like TST may not be in shareholders best interest. Petrofrontier is a prime example (though they have traded slightly higher post-deal)...
Sorry to hear that some people lost significant savings... Hopefully some shareholder value can be created soon..
