Feel It In My Gut Unfortunately, I think the writing is on the wall. In my mind there is just no way to sugarcoat the excessively late drill results other than to admit the obvious may be unfolding.
The drill and trenching program carried out by EQT is very small by any measure. Additionally, the drill cores themselves were very shallow from surface. Even if metallurgy work is being done this is taking way too long to be announced.
Folks here can say whatever they want and find excuses as to why the results are so late in arriving. Investors and companies for the most part will say anything to hide poor news or results. Of course, we don't truly know what they will be, but understanding time-lines and past occurrences from poor drill results tells a story, based on a trend. In resource investing this is well known as a tactical event.
The lack of reporting of such a small and insignificant drill program is in my opinion a bad omen.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think we all know I'm probably right. I think the news release wording is going to be a challenge to make it palatable for retail investors to get excited about and that may be what they are batteling with.
God help us if the results are poor. Making any money on an already price appreciating challenged stock like EQT which to date has not participated in the current bull run will be a thing of the past in a worst case senario.
We all better hope like h*ll there is gold and lots of it because back to back drill result catastrophes from the Garland and now Brazil were to accur that would seal this companies fate because like it or not, EQT is now a micro-cap gold explorer..........not a base metal explorer. We either have the gold goods or we're fu*ked and there will be no turning back or recovery.
Just keeping it real. If someone has a different view that's realistic then I'm all ears.
