RE:North Sea Winds

RE:North Sea Winds
Kensho wrote: The North Sea winds are expected to pick up quite substantially over Sunday through Wednesday, so don't be surprised if the POFS-1 sits below Norway for a day or so..  By the amount of sea they have covered so far, they should be passing under the Oresund Bridge that connects Sweden to Denmark by late Sunday and then make it to the south of Norway in another day or two.  From there it looks like another 2-3 days to Stella.  So, even with a possible weather pause in Norwegian waters, they should still be able to get on site by next Saturday.  Once the Olympic Octopus begins to move from Aberdeen we'll know that the hookup is imminent.

They will lay low east of Denmark rather than get into that mess of shipping lanes.  Once the weather turns she will be on her way.  The satellite imagery suggests they will have a delay of a couple of days.  Should be on their way by Tuesday Canada time.  And given that delay she should still be on site by the weekend.  Still looking good.
