A new Chairman to the Advisory Board..... Mr.Rojer Li is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Canada Rare Earth and, in this capacity, he provides valuable industry knowledge, technical information and business development services particularly in Asia. Rojer is involved in the development and facilitation of many of the business activities and opportunities that CREC is pursuing. Rojer founded and until recently was the Chairman of CEC Rare Earth Corp. (“REC”), a private rare earth technology and project management company based in Canada and with projects in Asia and the Americas. REC’s assets were acquired by Canada Rare Earth in 2015. Rojer began working closely with his family in the early 2000s, first with Yongzhou City Xiangjiang Rare Earth, learning about manufacturing and trading, then later with Xingxi Rare Earth, the engineering and construction arm of his family’s group of companies. Rojer assumed leadership roles with the China companies, and has taken on the mandate of extending the family’s business outside China. Rojer is considered an authority on all aspects of the rare earth business, from mining through specialized refining processes to trading and downstream manufacturing of specialty compounds and products. He has extensive business relationships with all major rare earth producers in China, and is sought after by major rare earth development companies around the world for strategic consulting services.
