RE:RE:RE:RE:CEO OF RED EAGLE MINING- TALKS COLOMBIA AND THESE ARE FACTS
Also of note, and one of the more significant observations of this interview in my opinion, is the reference to Graystar. The only reference being that Graystar (Not EOM) encountered problems because they wanted to build an open pit mine in a watershed. I'm sorry but that's old news. Why refer to that ancient BS, without even referencing the company's current name? Particularly when EOM has a significant story of its own struggles and is the current name of the company in question? I'm sorry but that is some serious effed up sh/@t!! My guess is EOM is a taboo subject. In order to maintain any credibility he would have to call out the Colombian government for their dysfunctional, shady treatment of EOM wouldn't he? But then, he can't exactly go around biting the hand that feeds him, can he? Particularly when you're this close to fulfilling your vision there. The interviewer may have tried to get him to bite on the topic but he only took a slight nibble... so as to not to completely avoid it, but strategically avoid speaking about EOM specifically. All the while singing praises about how easy of a ride it has been for his company, within all levels of government, and downplaying any and all of the hiccups the company experienced. He addressed eveything in the best possible way he could without looking like a complete tool, or putting his relationship with the Colombian government at risk. Praise the hand that feeds you and, when it comes to EOM, no comment.... Much to read between the lines here in my opinion. Thanks for sharing youngman. Enjoyed the listen... BH
